While standard Strats limit you to 5 sounds, our proprietary logic unlocks 4 additional high-impact tones. You can always fall back on the classic 5-way positions, but two subtle controls provide boutique versatility:

• The "Neck-On" Feature (Push-Pull): Engaging this adds the neck pickup to any position. This allows for the elusive Neck + Bridge (Tele-style) tone as well as All Three Pickups on.
• The "Blow" Switch (3PDT Mini-Toggle): This engages the Bridge and Middle pickups in Series for a boost in output and low-end punch. Perfect for pushing a tube amp into lead territory.

Pro-Grade Routing: Eliminating the "Dead Spot" Flaw In the world of guitar mods, many series circuits rely on basic DPDT switches which often result in "dead spots" - total silence in certain positions on your 5-way selector. We consider this an unacceptable compromise. By utilizing a high-integrity 3PDT mini-toggle, we’ve designed a routing logic that ensures your guitar remains 100% active across all positions. You get a seamless transition into high-output series tones without ever worrying about a dead switch on stage.

Furthermore, if your bridge and middle pickups are of opposite polarity, you'll get the added benefit of a silent, hum-cancelling performance while in series mode.

This is the ultimate substitution for the second tone control on your Stratocaster. The RG500D is a unique circuit combining high-quality capacitors, resistors, and a specialized inductor to produce a powerful tonal enhancement - no active electronics or batteries required.

• Settings 5 to 0 (The Scoop): This pulls midrange frequencies out while leaving your highs and lows intact. Between 2 and 3, you'll achieve that signature "Knopfleresque" bell-like Strat tone with an almost acoustic-like clarity.
• Settings 5 to 10 (The Honk): This adds a slightly thicker "midrange honk" to your sound. It is most dramatic with single coils, adding girth and punch to your lead tones.
• Intuitive Shaping: With the control at the "5" center-detent, the circuit is completely neutral.

Unlike other vendors, we use genuine Sprague Orange Drop capacitors in this circuit, widely regarded as the industry standard for professional tone.

Most solderless kits are designed for the first 10 minutes of ownership; the Voodoo Tone Monster is designed for the life of the guitar. By separating the swappable pickups from the foundational ground/jack connections, we've created a harness that is lower-profile and completely detachable.

• Stage 1 (Foundational): Pre-soldered output jack and tremolo claw with high-integrity pin-connectors for a noise-free ground.
• Stage 2 (Swappable): 6-position terminal block mounted directly to our 9-voice PCB for fast, solder-free pickup swaps.

We are the only company providing pre-wired assemblies with heavy-duty, noise-canceling 3 mil thick copper shielding. While many others use flimsy aluminum foil, or no shielding ag all, our thick copper shielding provides a superior ground plane and significantly reduces the 60-cycle hum and interference common in Strat-style guitars. There is endless debate about the impact of capacitor materials on guitar tone. Our philosophy is simple: Tone is subjective, but quality and construction are objective. We offer three options for the tone capacitor we'll use on your build:

• Standard Choice: SBE Orange Drop. These are our default choice (at no extra charge). Known for their consistency and durability, they have been the industry standard for decades.


• Boutique Performance: Sozo NextGen Blue Molded. For players who want to spec their build with high-fidelity components similar to those found in boutique tube amplifiers.


• The No-Compromise Build: VH Audio's V-CAP TONE Series. These are the bomb. They are ultra-high-end Paper in Oil (PIO) capacitors featuring world-class, military-grade construction. If you want the most robust component available in your build, this is it.

Our Treble Bleed Mod prevents the loss of sparkle when you roll back the volume. We use a 1000 pF Mallory 150 Series capacitor in parallel with a 150K resistor for a smooth, musical taper.
