We have been building these high-quality switches since 2002, refined over years of design improvements. Wired with top-notch components and vintage-style cloth wire, every connection is insulated with heat shrink tubing and treated with Caig DeoxIT for long-term, trouble-free operation.

Quality Components & Construction

• "Make Before Break" Switch: We use shorting rotary switches to dramatically minimize the "popping" noise common in cheaper alternatives.
• No Ceramic Capacitors: We use Xicon Polyester Film capacitors (similar to Orange Drops) for a warmer tone with more character. Their smaller footprint allows for a much cleaner installation compared to bulky alternatives.

The Important Question: What does it sound like?

The effect depends on your playing style:

• Clean/Jangly: The filter makes the guitar sound increasingly acoustic-like as you progress through the settings.
• Chunky/Distorted: The tone becomes "single-coil like"�nastier, grittier, and less smooth as you progress.

Summary of the 6 Positions:

• Position 1: True Bypass
• Position 2: Subtle cut of highs � softens a harsh tone.
• Position 3: Clapton-style "Woman Tone" � great for creamy distortion.
• Position 4: Mid-Scoop � hollow tone for funky rhythms.
• Position 5: Warm Jazz � a unique darker tone.
• Position 6: Dark Jazz � a more dramatic, dark effect.

Compatibility & Installation

Universal Passive Design: This control is designed for ANY passive guitar circuit regardless of make or model. Installation is EASY: Simply connect the white wire to the "hot" signal and the black wire to ground. Will it fit? Fits standard 3/8 inch holes. It is safe for tops up to 1/4 inch thick. Knobs & Plates: Includes a Chicken Head knob at no extra charge. An optional 1-5 dial plate is available for $10 extra.
