RG500D_OS - "Old School" Midrange Shaper w/ NOS Components

This is the "Old School" version of our famous passive midrange control. We have a very limited supply of these, as the specialized vintage components are no longer manufactured.

• Authentic NOS Components: Built with New Old Stock (NOS) Mullard Mustard capacitors and Carbon Comp resistors for an authentic vintage warmth and "killer" tone.
• Exclusive CTS Potentiometer: Uses the exact same custom-taper 500K pot with a center detent made exclusively for us by CTS.
• Hand-Wired Quality: Each unit is professionally assembled to ensure the "Old School" vibe and long-term reliability.

The Important Question: What does it sound like?

While the internal components are vintage, the operational range remains consistent with our standard model:

• Settings 0-4 (The Scoop): Rotating counterclockwise pulls out midrange frequencies for a transparent, acoustic-like clarity�perfect for clean, funky rhythms.
• Setting 5 (Neutral): The center-detent position where the circuit is completely transparent.
• Settings 6-10 (The Honk): Provides a thicker, more aggressive sound with a classic "mid-range honk."

Compatibility & Installation

• Universal Compatibility: This control is designed for ANY passive guitar circuit regardless of make or model.
• Simple Installation: Very easy 2-wire installation. Simply connect the white wire to your "hot" signal and the black wire to any ground point.
• Fitment: Designed to fit in any standard guitar control
