Custom 6 String Bass

This one looks even better in person and sounds fantastic. The body was cut from a light weight piece of swamp ash with a striking grain pattern. The 35" scale neck is maple with a very cool bloodwood fingerboard. Bloodwood is a dense wood like ebony. The frets have been leveled and crowned and the bass is set up with low action. The pickups are a custom wound set of Bartolini P4's and each inidividual pickup is hum-cancelling. The active electronics include master volume, blender control, treble cut/boost and bass cut/boost. Nothing but the best hardware was used including Hipshot Ultralite tuners, Hipshot Style "A" bridge and genuine Ebony knobs.
